What should I add to the description section in my listing?
Our most successful hosts have put a considerable amount of time into tailoring their listings and content of each one. We ask that you create multiple listings for your venue - it can be broken up into different spaces all within the one venue. You need to create unique descriptions, pricing, rules and amenities for each. This is so you can appeal to guests searching under specific categories.
Below are some tips on how to add quality information to the Description of the Space portion of your listing to help guests better understand your space when they are considering sending an enquiry.
History of the space
Is your space an old barn or a modern art gallery?
Maybe your in a new build space but have an interesting past yourself? Then you should definitely add this. Adding a sense of history to your listing helps increase the value of your space.

The neighbourhood is just important to guests as the space is. If you're in the city centre and your space is surrounded by the most eclectic mix of parks, restaurants and shops, let them know. You should give your guests an idea of what their overall experience will be by describing the neighbourhood or the area around your space. Location is a top priority for guests, so give them all the know how on to book within your neighbourhood.

|Our space is located in the heart of London. We are a short walk from the Regents Park and Camden Town. There is a mix of all different cuisines from around the world within a 5-10 minute walk. Come and experience the beauty that London has to offer|
Located a short stroll from Broughty Ferry Beach, our space is in a prime location for relaxing walk after a long meeting. We are couple of minute walk from Sol Y Sombra Tapas Bar there are numerous other eateries and parks close by.
This is where you will explain to guests how to gain access to your space, what parts of your space will be accessible during their booking and how many tables or charges do you have and how they can be laid out. Other things you would include would be is there any parking or public transport? Any details about parking, setting up and access. Will stop your guests having to email you first.

The entire space is available for guests to use, including the kitchen, upstairs/downstairs unisex bathrooms, outdoor patio and main floor event space. We have 60 chairs and 2 rectangular tables that can be set up for a dinner in the center of the room or on the outer perimeter of the room for an open style event.
You will be met by a receptionist who will show you to the space. We do not have designated parking spots, however there is street parking and a paid multi story close by. You can get the Piccadilly Line and then take a short walk.

Amenities at additional cost
Do you have additional chargeable amenities that are not included in your space rental rate. Any amenity that the guest must pay extra for outside of the space rental should be disclosed in your description, and not listed in the Amenities section. Do you have a projector they can't rent our or photography equipment? You should list the details and cost in here.

Information about past bookings
You should be proud if you have any successful bookings at your space. Tell the world about all the wonderful events you have put on in the past. Just like reviews, disclosing the best events your venue has put on to guests will add credibility to you and your space. Maybe you have won a few awards over your time. Include them here!
